A core aspect of modern scheduling software is its ability to interact with other systems - both those in-house systems within an organisation (such as payroll) and external resources (NaPTAN, Traveline etc.).
Omnibus software handles import and export of data in many formats. This includes the developing EBSR (Electronic Bus Service Registration) using TransXChange and the feeds into and out of Traveline (CIF formats). This not only means that clients can send data in these formats, but can also save on data input through importing the data from these formats.
See the diagram below for examples of how Omnibus are working to ensure clients have the most relevant and efficient operational software available:
IMPORTANT FOR UK BUS SERVICES - TransXChange import/export software is already operational and available, and the EBSR module is being launched at the Eurobus Expo 2008, 4-6 November.
